A human reads this.
- Does it drain my battery? No. Drops arrive as push notifications, so nothing polls in the background.
- Mac or Android? Not yet. Windows and iPhone only for now.
- How is this different from LocalSend and similar tools? Those need both devices on the same local network. PocketDrop works over the internet from anywhere: cellular, hotel Wi-Fi, or across the country.
- Why not Microsoft Phone Link? Its iPhone file sharing only works with the phone sitting next to the PC, connected over Bluetooth. PocketDrop works from anywhere over the internet.
- Why not a cloud drive or a self-hosted server? Nothing to run and nothing piling up. Every drop expires after 24 hours and is removed by the next hourly cleanup.
- Is it really end-to-end encrypted? Yes. Contents are sealed on your device and only your paired device can open them. The relay never has the keys.
- Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Cancelling Pro? In your iPhone settings, under Subscriptions.
