The service
PocketDrop transfers end-to-end encrypted text, links, screenshots, and files between paired Windows PCs and iPhones. The free tier includes 3 sends per day, up to 100 MB each, and one PC. Pocket Pro removes the send-count limit, allows files up to 500 MB each and a combined 2 GB per day, and supports up to five PCs. Relay items expire after 24 hours and are removed by the next hourly cleanup. We may improve or replace software versions while keeping the material subscription promises described here.
The apps are anonymous and do not require an email to use the free tier. A website account is for downloads, support, and account settings. You are responsible for keeping account credentials and paired devices secure and for promptly telling us if you believe someone else has access.
Charges and cancellation
A Pocket Pro subscription starts in the iPhone app. Apple charges the price shown in the app for the plan you select and renews it until you cancel.
Cancel any time in your iPhone settings under Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple. Open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and pick the charge. Apple's policy applies.
Acceptable use
Use PocketDrop only with content you have the right to send. Do not use it to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute malware, exploit minors, harass people, evade security controls, probe or overload our systems, or interfere with anyone else's use. Do not attempt to recover another user's ciphertext, keys, or account. Automated abuse, resale without permission, and attempts to bypass plan limits are prohibited.
We may limit traffic, suspend access, or ban an account when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect users, comply with law, or preserve the service. When practical, we will explain an account action and allow you to contact support. We may also terminate the service with reasonable notice and refund any prepaid, unused subscription time when appropriate.
Your content and privacy
You keep every right you have in your content. PocketDrop receives only the limited permission needed to carry encrypted bytes between your paired devices and delete them. Encryption keys are never uploaded in readable form. Encrypted key material may pass through the relay during pairing, but the relay cannot decrypt it. File and text contents and previews remain end-to-end encrypted. The relay stores the limited item, routing, device, and plan information described in our Privacy Policy. Items expire after 24 hours and are removed by the next hourly cleanup. The website stores the account information described in our Privacy Policy. It uses one session cookie and no advertising trackers or analytics.
Software, availability, and warranties
PocketDrop software, branding, and service code remain ours or our licensors'. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. Beta software may contain defects. We work to keep PocketDrop available and secure, but networks, Apple push delivery, operating systems, and third-party processors can fail. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent the law allows, without promises of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Liability and disputes
To the extent allowed by law, PocketDrop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for a claim is capped at the greater of $50 or the amount you paid PocketDrop during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This cap does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, and local consumer rights still apply.
We prefer to solve problems directly. Contact us before filing a claim and give us 30 days to respond. These terms may change as the service changes; material revisions will be dated and reasonably announced. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
